  1. Just ordered myself a xperia x compact can not wait
Its unfortunate that Sony decided to go with their compact with mid-range chipset but I just could not stand with SD810
tried Z5 / Z5 Compact and it was pretty much unusable due to overheating (throttling when gaming / filming was unbearable)

I've used S7 / S7 Edge and Note 7 and was looking for something smaller this time and your channel truly helped me to
    decide to get this phone
Despite SD650 is lower numbering than a SD810, thinks its performing really well based on this X Compact and X model video of yours.
Really wanted to get something around 4.5" and there was absolutely no other choice for me other than iPhone SE (4" screen was just too small for me and the screen quality was noticeable bad compare to iPhone 6 / 6S / 7)

    Thanks again!

  2. I'm actually more comfortable with a plastic or metal body than the more slippery, fragile glass. Considering you're also paying for a more streamlined software and better battery, I think that would be worth the price. At least it does include what looks like a quick charge adapter as the charger.

Outside of that, thanks for the unboxing. That frost blue color looks one-of-a-kind. Just a few questions: Considering you're on Verizon, how are you able to use the phone outside of using other carriers? Is it possible for, say, web browsing and some gaming, considering they use LTE? And what do you think of the chances that the Z3c will be Verizon compatible after Verizon phases out CDMA? It has all the LTE bands for the network. Now if only they can figure out how to add a CDMA antenna until then. They are missing an opportunity for extra competition in the much broader market in Verizon.

  3. The Z3 Compact is much thinner and more beautiful and premium than the X Compact. This is not an improvement but a big disappointment. I think I will stay with my Z3c forever!

  4. IF this is indeed the one and only type of compact phones Sony plans to make here forward, then this is truly a disappointment.. but i believe that they know better and still offer a small sized premium phone every year like they did with the Z range.
and don't worry about the firmware thing to recover the fingerprint scanner. I've read at xperiablog that it is quite an easy thing to do and you don't need to root or do anything more complicated to the device to change the firmware.. you will lose your warranty i think! so be aware of that..!
also i really, really like the Z5 compact design too.. it is a very smooth phone to touch.. if i wasn't too much into watching videos on my phone, i think i would definitely pick up a (premium) compact phone from Sony.. :)
