REUTERS: Wells Fargo & Co non-government Chairman Stephen Sanger is expected to phase down just before the bank’s shareholder conference upcoming spring, the Wall Avenue Journal documented on Thursday.

Elizabeth Duke, vice chair of Wells Fargo’s board, is expected to replace Sanger, the Journal documented, citing men and women common with the subject.

Wells Fargo did not promptly respond to a Reuters request for remark.
